Droik aims to be the most user friendly classifieds portal ever. Period.
That’s a really simple mission statement and we’re sticking to that.
Droik is run by people who believe in keeping things simple and easy.
The portal has been build based on this paradigm. We’ve been looking at (and implementing) classifieds portal for over 8 years now,
and have a clear idea of what users are looking for - having been in those very shoes.
This is the first cut of Droik and has all the bells and whistles that users would require to experience a hassle free service.
Registered Users will have an account and be able respond to ads without getting off Droik
We also have a very well defined Advanced Search Feature
A big plus is our search agent (aka Future Search), in case you do not find what you’re looking for and would like to be notified when a posting relevant to your interest appears
What's Droik and what does it mean?
'I wish I knew' is the official answer.
Since that won't fly, we'll attempt something more elaborate:
"Droik means nothing...for now. We do hope that it becomes a verb and represents 'posting a classifieds ad'. "

How do I pronounce Droik?
'Drr oh ike' is what we recommend.
You could also go with 'draw ick' or 'droe ick'. Easier? Good.

Dude, we just got started. We can barely support the site, pay electricity bills or salaries.

There are so many classifieds site, why one more?
Well, you're right about them being many sites. But good ones? None. Ok one. Droik.
This is the first cut, but believe me this will be the most user
friendly site for classifieds. Worse, its free. It can;t get better
than that.

What is your view about the moral policing in India, about clothing?
Mahatma Gandhi started the trend.
He decided that he would wear minimal clothing until the whole of this country was clothed.
It's unfortunate that the whole of this country isn't clothed even 50
yers after independence(ok 60) and it is inspiring that the young woman
of India are now the only followers of the great man.
Droik is all for minimal clothing.
It's also green since it uses less resources to produce and the body needs the sunlight (Vitamin D).
How did Droik start?
I had great difficulty selling my 2 in 1 (sofa cum washing machine) on the current classifieds sites.
That was when I realised that there was a void in the market that needed to be filled.
